Accepting New Clients. Sessions available Wednesdays through Saturdays.

In-Person and Virtual

I will be available for conditional in-person sessions in Lynnwood, WA. This is due to change depending on current CDC and state government recommendations.

In addition to in-person, I will continue to offer online telehealth services to residents of Washington state, for your safety and convenience.

FAQs

Do I need therapy?

Therapy is just one of many ways to address the problems you’re experiencing, take a closer look at relational dynamics, and process your experiences.

How will I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

I offer a free 20-minute phone or video chat consultation to get the first jitters out of the way and answer any questions you may have. Beyond that, the best way to find out is to meet for a session.

How often will we meet?

I like to start off by meeting every week, to get to know each other, but I am flexible, based on your needs. If you have financial or time constraints, please let me know so we can explore options together.

Do you have an in-person office?

My office is located in Lynnwood, WA. I make the decision on whether to meet in-person on a case-by-case basis, which is impacted by CDC and government recommendations, as well as the therapists with whom who I share an office.

I don’t live in Washington state. Can I still work with you?

In my capacity as a therapist, I can only meet with clients within the state of Washington at present.

How long does therapy take?

I tell all my clients that paying attention to what’s bothering you will often make a situation feel worse before it feels better. That said, it’s different for every person, and I don’t want you to be in therapy forever and ever - especially if you don’t want to be.

What happens if I need to miss a session?

I require 24 hours advance notice of cancellation or you will need to pay for the appointment. It’s important that we meet consistently in order to make progress.

How much do you charge? Do you take insurance?

I charge $155 for a 55-minute session. Payment will be collected at the time of service. I do not accept insurance but can provide a super-receipt for you so that you can apply for out-of-network reimbursement with your insurance provider. I also have a limited number of sliding scale appointments available.

Can I be reimbursed for my sessions?

Some insurers will reimburse for sessions with an un-paneled therapist. If you’re wondering, contact your insurance provider, and if they won’t cover part or all of our sessions, they should provide you with a list of therapists paneled with them.

Do you provide Good Faith Estimates?

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" document explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. The Good Faith Estimate includes the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

For ongoing clients, I generally provide a Good Faith Estimate yearly (and update it as needed if session frequency increases.)
